Friday Finds- post holiday shopping

If you didn't get what you wanted over the holidays, it's fun to do some bargain shopping in January. I found these vintage boots on Etsy that I love!

And even though the holidays are over, I still love to decorate. I just bought sleigh bells, similar to the ones in the below pic. They line my mantel and look fabulous!

Here's another awesome piece for decor. These rustic hooks would look great hanging indoors, or outside.

Friday Finds—The Porkchop Show

The Porkchop Show. That is the name of the shop that I have stumbled upon on Etsy. My whole life I have loved "little things" and now here is a shop that has a ton of just that. These little wooden cut outs can be used for so many different things. My list has already started. Don't you just love when you see something that gets all your rusty wheels a' turning. There is truly something for everyone here who loves to create.

Here are just some of my favorites!!

Friday Finds

February is pretty much smack dab in the middle of winter across much of the U.S., and I don't know about you, but I like to stay nice and toasty warm if I can help it. Here are some of my favorite items from Etsy that help to do just that.
This 1960's infrared lamp from Vintage Euro Design is just plain gorgeous, and will keep you warm, too!
I can definitely see myself traipsing around the city on a cold day with this stylish faux leopard bomber coat from Dandelion Daydreamer vintage.
Flourish Cafe's easy recipe for Mexican Hot Chocolate is sure to hit the spot on a blustery winter day.
These beautiful glass slides from the 40's, 50's, and 60's offer an inspirational glimpse into sunny vacations by the sea.

Friday Finds: Beyond Candy and Flowers

How often have you gone visiting friends and brought your host or hostess candy or flowers? And you know that the flowers will wilt and the candy will be eaten and forgotten in a week or so.

Why not bring something that they will use over and over again, and that will add beauty and the warmth of handmade to their lives. Consider some of these from BEST members instead:

Tea towels from Fuzzy Mug.

A welcome mat like this Zen Happiness one from DamnGoodDoormats.

A wood salad or serving bowl from Wood Art for Living.

Search the sites shown here, or type baltimoreetsyteam or shopbaltimore10 into the Etsy search bar and find something your host or hostess will treasure!

Friday Finds

Cooler Weather is fast approaching, and I am glad because that means it will be scarf weather. Scarves are one of my favorite accessories- even in summer I manage to find a few lovely lightweight scarves to wear, but in fall and winter the possibilities for scarf wearing are at their best, and Etsy stores feature a really wonderful variety. Here are just a few.
How cool is this? It has a very ethnic and safari like feel to me, and is unmistakably artisan made.

I love this feminine and sort of Victorian feeling infinity scarf, which is available in 3 colors.

A lovely textural scarf by BEST's own, Yarnings by Seanna.

And to keep your scarf snug, how gorgeous is this?

Friday Finds: It's Sweater Weather!

Autumn - I love it! Crisp, cool air, crackling leaves. The excuse to bundle up in a cozy sweater, and nestle on the couch with a good book. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's divine.
