I Pity the Fool Who Doesn't View this Post!

Listen sucker, Valentine's Day is less than a week away! So download this card by Kolleen from Design by Night and give it to your loved one—it will definitely put you on the A-Team with your honey.

Click here to download a pdf of this card.

The card should be printed at 100% on letter sized (8.5 x 11) paper. Trim the card using the crop marks and fold in half. The final size is 4.25" x 5.5". The sample was printed on red card stock to give it a little more XOXO. The cards will fit in a standard A2 (4-3/8" x 5-3/4"), however if you do not have an envelope handy you can refer to this tuturial for Recycled Paper Envelopes to create one.

What I'm Working On: Sugar Paperie

I've been busy in the studio developing my newest line of cards that are teeny tiny. Not only are these little guys economical, but so sweet! Their petite size makes them perfect for accompanying a bottle of wine (a thoughtful hostess gift!) or to dress up a charming little package.

Finally--New Improved Evites and Ecards

Evites and ecards are a convenient way to connect with friends (I mean, who knows anyone's street address anymore!) But the same old formulaic images and templates can get pretty boring. I was so excited to find out about Pingg, which is an evite/ecard site that brings an indie flavor.

Along with the usual holiday and occasion scenes and templates, Pingg offers "designer" images by established and emerging artists (who are also Etsy sellers), and they are a refreshing change from the usual fare.

I am crazy about this retro image by artist and Etsy seller Leigh.

Or how about this cute graphic by Ashley Mills?

Pingg users can send their ecards or evites via email, SMS, Twitter, or even post them on the web or make them printable. There's even a link to upload your card directly to your Facebook page so all your friends can know what you're up to.

I just made a card on Pingg for my soon-to-be-sister-in law, using a gorgeous image by Jess Gonacha.

Check it out!
