April Wood is a local Baltimore metals artist. Her work is utterly amazing and everyone should go view her MFA exhibition, which is about to go up. Some of her pieces include beautiful raised vessels, incorporating things like onion skins and sausage casing (which looks lovely and lacy, who knew?). Her work is all about the rituals of eating and the connection between sensuality and food. Seriously, a gallery full of April's work, what could be better?
