Baltimore 500: Racing to Save Lives
It is the perfect time to adopt a cat or kitten from a local shelter here in Baltimore. It’s a very busy time at our animal rescue facilities around town and they are all racing to adopt 500 kitties by the end of the month. During June adoption fees are completely waived at any of the organizations affiliated with The Baltimore Animal Welfare Alliance.
The participating shelters include The Maryland SPCA, The Humane Society of Baltimore County, BARCS, Baltimore City Animal Control, & Baltimore County Animal Control Division.
For more information, contact any of these locations or visit Baltimore 500 online.

Hmn...if I didn't already have two (or if I still lived alone- haha) I would totally run there asap!
I know exactly what you mean, Nancy! One dog, two cats and three people here...
But of course I want to take care of ALL of them!
