Artists At Work
We've mentioned it before, but after conducting a demo at the American Crafts Council show, and seeing other artists share their processes, it bears repeating....get out of your studio - and into another!
I for one, am intrigued to get out and see more artists at work.
A great way to do this is with the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower Open Studio Day.
Talented artists open their studios for visitors to enjoy their artwork and have the opportunity to purchase original pieces.
During this monthly event, guests can get an up-close view of artists’ workspace, and artistic creations including oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, sculptures, mixed media and more.
In addition, Unexpected Theater performs short plays and monologues at 2pm in the Studio 11 Theater, located on the 11th floor.
Tours are available for those interested in viewing the historic tower and its new renovations.
Open Studio Day Schedule:
Saturday, March 5 from 1-5pm
Saturday, April 2 from 1-5pm
Saturday, May 14 from 1-5pm
Thursday, June 2 from 6-9pm
