Shop the ever growing, affordable (*read cheap*) Highlandtown Farmer's Market on the corner of Conkling St. and Bank St. 8-12am this Saturday and be pleasantly surprised. Wander into Hoehn's bakery on the corner there, grab a loaf of fresh bread and a pastry and your weekend will be off to a great start. As an added bonus to this already great day, visit the Timeless Painted Screens artist reception after the Market closes in the Skylofts Gallery. Baltimore heritage is on the walls in an exhibit that highlights this hometown tradition of screen painting. Robert Myers, Stupid Hero will be preforming and food will be provided from many of the vendors of the Market.
The screenpainting exhibit is open to the public Tues-Sat, 11am-6pm through Sept. 3rd.
