What I'm Working On: Dari

I'm getting ready for some craft shows, and after all the sewing is done, I'm left with....scraps. But they're so pretty, I can't bear to throw them away! Some of them are long and skinny, while some are a few inches square.

So what to do? Some of the ways I've used them up so far:

Zipper pouches

Scarves

Headbands

I'm wondering what else I can do with these scraps. I've gotten suggestions like sachets, belts, and a quilt top. Any more ideas would be appreciated. What would you do with them?

how about covering buttons or small sachets.

Hmn...I would take them to work and let kids make collages with them:)

I make my packaging with scrap fabric...most recently curtains. They're kind of an envelope design like a pillow case with no zipper, just a fold over flap. You could use them as packaging when you sell your neck scarves...

and I love to use scraps to decorate sweatshirts, collars, sleeves, around edges of pillowcases. Scraps are sometimes the best part of a project!!

I looove your fabrics! How about some flowers to make hair pins... a big flower for a chocker necklace with a ribbon to wrap around your neck- or one for your wrist, like a corsage.
