Indie-pendent Business - Double Dutch

What can I say about Double Dutch that hasn't already been said? For me, walking into Megan and Lesley's exceptionally well-curated boutique reminds me of walking into a favorite toy shop as a child. I am immediately overwhelmed by the pattern and textures of the clothing, the candy jar of color that is their jewelry collection, and yes, even the scent of the wonderful soaps they carry. I'm not alone in this feeling, and Megan and Lesley love the indie craft community just as much as we love them. They regularly carry all kinds of goodies from local crafters: bags from Pistol Stitched, tees from Red Prairie Press, jewelry from Dandelion Blu, Imogene and Art School Dropout, and accessories from Bake Sale Designs and (me!) The Littlest Bean.

Double Dutch will also play host to BEST this coming Sunday, July 13th for our first ever trunk show! There will be yummy eats and delicious drinks, as well as new work from BEST crafters.

Stop by between 11am and 5pm, meet BEST members, have a snack, and do some shopping. Also, enter to win a $50 gift certificate to Double Dutch for a future shopping spree! (Winner will be notified via email on July 14th, 2008.) We'll see you there!
