Baltimore Architecture Week

Today marks the first day of AIA's Architecture Week in Baltimore. Founded in 1871, the Baltimore Chapter of The American Institute of Architects is the third oldest in the country. The constitution written by its founders states that "the objects of the chapter are to unite in fellowship the architects of the city, and to combine their efforts so as to promote the artistic, scientific and best ethical standards of the profession."
A number of workshops, talks and tours will take place throughout many Baltimore's architecture treasures. Topics range from Community Building by Design, Art Under Glass to Visitor Centers: Telling the Story through Design. Check out the AIA Baltimore for more info.
