Come out and play at the 5th annual BARCStoberfest & Strut Your Mutt Walk on Saturday October 17, 2009. Enjoy a pet-centric day in lovely Patterson Park that aims to raise awareness and much needed funds for the 12,000 animals that pass through BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter) each year. There promises to be something for everyone at BARCStoberfest!
Folks can get creative and go for the top prize in the pet costume contest, browse local artists and vendors, snuggle some adoptable pets, and even bid on a Fuzzy Mug Custom Pet Portrait & Doggie Calling Cards in the Silent Auction.
And, don’t forget to “move your paws for a cause” and register for the Strut Your Mutt walk. A $40 donation will get you a spiffy T-Shirt and that warm, fuzzy feeling you get from doing good deeds. Pre-register at here!
